This is Mrs. Cox, principal of WAAT. Here are our weekly updates.
Students taking English 2, Biology 1, Math 1, and/or Math 3 will be required to come on campus to take their end-of-course exams. Failing to take the EOC will result in a student needing to repeat the entire course for credit. These tests will be administered on May 7th and May 10th.
There will be a mandatory Graduation Meeting on campus for all 13th-grade and early graduate 12th-grade students on Friday, April 30th at 11:00 a.m. In order to participate in Awards Day and Graduation, students must be in attendance at this meeting. An email and a calendar invite were sent on Friday to student WCS email accounts.
Wilson Community College has decided to recognize 2021 Graduates. The college will offer a walk-through Graduation event on campus, Friday, May 21, between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. in the Eagles Center. This event will provide an opportunity for graduates to walk through with up to four guests, have their name and program announced, turn their tassel, and have photos taken. There will not be a procession, guest speaker, or audience. The event will also be live-streamed on the College’s Facebook page. Students will have to purchase regalia from the on-campus bookstore.
We have a few yearbooks on sale for the 2020-2021 school year. They can be purchased in the WAAT front office for $30. Get one while you still can.
If you have any questions, feel free to call the school at 252-265-4038.
Have an awesome evening!
