(And that is with a brand new math EOG)! We are only seven percentage points away from being in the top 20 highest performing school systems in the state.
"The hard work of our students and staff that is represented in these results should be celebrated," said Superintendent Dr. Mills. "I also want to emphasize that while we are excited about our great results, our students are more than just test scores. We love them and are committed to helping them realize their full potential. I want to celebrate the dedication and hard work of every staff member who went above and beyond for students. While we are always looking to improve in all areas, we are proud of our WCS family and anticipate another successful year."
The state released accountability and testing scores for schools across the state on Wednesday. Dr. Mills is looking forward to sharing a complete snapshot of our data at the Sept. 16 Board of Education meeting.
