Wilson County Schools (WCS) would like to thank everyone who played a role in helping the district secure $42 million in grant funds to construct a new elementary school for students at Wells Elementary and Hearne Elementary.

Wilson County Schools is in the process of developing the 2026-2027 Traditional Instructional Calendar. We would like input from staff and families prior to sharing the proposed calendar with the Wilson County Board of Education for approval.

All students and families are invited to the Career Pathway Summit on Tues., Oct. 7 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Lee Technology Center and Wilson Academy of Applied Technology. Come learn more about Career & Technical Education pathways that lead to amazing careers. There will be hands-on activities, demonstrations, door prizes and FREE Pelican’s SnoBalls!
